About Jimmy Blake

James Blake is the Chief Product Evangelist for Mimecast, the World’s leading provider of end-to-end email management solutions.  James is responsible for shaping, understanding and communicating the value of the Mimecast service to internal staff, channel partners, existing customers and prospects.

James has over 15 years experience in information security, high-availability solutions and storage networking gained both in both commerce and the military.

James was the CEO of CustomIP, a successful distributor of security and server software solutions.  In addition, during his working career James has worked for leading vendors such as Apple, 3Com TippingPoint and Alcatel, as well as integrators such as Morse.

James holds a PhD in Information Security Management and a MA in Economics.

James is a keen technical diver and rides his Harley-Davidson Dyna Glide at every opportunity.
