I saw this on Gianpaolo Carraro’s blog and had to laugh - a nephologist studies clouds.

It seems like every company is now moving at least aspects of their business into the cloud and those of us with nephological experience are in demand.

Iconic Microsoft photo recreated 30 years later

One of the most iconic pictures of the tech age, the 11 original Microsoft employees taken on 7 December 1978 on the eve of the company’s move from Albuquerque, New Mexico where Microsoft had been founded to be close to Altair, the manufacturer of one of the first home computer, for whom Microsoft supplied a copy of the BASIC computer language.

Now, nearly thirty years later the 11 members of the photo have reconvened to take another shot for Bill Gates, who is due to step-down from his current role at the company he co-founded.
